Cold Brew Growler Recipes

If you have snagged on our our Cold Brew Growler Kits, we’ve got some recipes for you to enjoy your cold brew at home! Scroll down for recipes.

Iced Coffee with Flavor:

In a 16oz glass, combine:

7oz cold brew

1oz milk or cream of your choice

1oz vanilla, lucky irish, or honey lavender syrup

Ice to top of glass

Iced “Latte”

In a 16oz glass, combine:

4oz cold brew

4oz milk of your choice

1oz vanilla, lucky irish, or honey lavender syrup

Ice to top of glass

Cold Brew “Old Fashioned” (alcohol free)

In a cocktail glass, combine:

3 dashes of old fashioned bitters

3oz cold brew

Pinch of sugar or 1/2oz of vanilla or simple syrup

Stir to combine

2oz chilled Topo Chico or other sparkling water

Top with big ice cube and garnish with an orange peel



Roots Fort Worth Opens December 2nd! Soft open 11/30 & 12/1 from 8am-12pm.

Join us on Monday, December 2nd for our opening day, or this weekend for our soft opening! We’re so excited to share this space with our Fort Worth community! This space showcases local furniture and shelving by Freeform Made, Brown Woodcraft, and Travis Trimble plus plants by Grow. Our menu will feature as many of our local favorites as possible - including: Novel Coffee Roasters, Funky Picnic, The Proof Bakery, Boopas Bagel Deli, Sunnyvale Honey, DFW Organics, Sublime Chocolate, Holy Kombucha, and more!

Stop by in the morning for a thick slice of avocado toast or a savory scone paired with a cappuccino or one our signature lattes. In the afternoon, choose from two sandwiches, a veggie snack plate, or our full toast menu served all day (vegan)! Gluten free and vegan pastries (made in house) are also available, along with a keto-friendly option for our low-carb friends.

Craft Beer on Tap & Wine by the Glass now available!

We are so excited to announce that, starting today, Roots Coffeehouse will be serving craft beer on tap and wine by the glass in the evenings!

From 4pm-10pm every day, you can grab a craft beer on tap or a glass of your favorite wine. Here's a list of the items we'll be serving:

Velvet Hammer (Peticolas Brewing) - Imperial Red Ale

Golden Opportunity (Peticolas Brewing) - Kolsch

Funky Thunder (Collective Brewing Project) - Green Tea Saison

October 1st from 2p-4p

Every year, since 2012, Roots has been hosting the Buy Local Event - one day on the first Saturday in October when we bring together the area's finest ingredients, makers, and artists.

For two hours, we set up the shop market-style and allow you to sample your way through our community's finest ingredients inside, and then get some early Christmas shopping done outside on the patio, where we will have gathered local artists and makers.

Past vendors include Holy Kombucha, Dude Sweet Chocolate, We Keep Exploring, Doughboy Donuts, Grapevine Grains, Novel Coffee Roasters, Fox&Otter, and many, many more!
